Automated gas distribution stations are packaged facilities providing a number of technological processes, such as purification, throttling, and metering of the gas supplied to consumers.
Equipment of stations is installed in prefabricated modular enclosures.
Automated gas distribution stations are intended for the reduction of natural and associated petroleum gas high pressure to a specified low pressure and its maintenance according to required accuracy levels, as well as for purification, heating, gas flow metering, and odorization prior to feeding it to settlements, industrial facilities, and other consumers. Automated gas distribution stations are reliable in operation, has necessary process redundancy, and up-to-date process control systems.
An automated gas distribution station is configured of the following units:
- Gas separation from water droplets and mechanical impurities;
- Gas heating to a specified temperature before pressure reduction;
- Pressure reduction;
- Gas flow metering, logging and communication of information to the control station;
- Gas odorization;
- Inline gas analysis and automatic control of station operating modes.
